LIU KOTOW and MünchenMusik Join Forces to Continue Spreading Classical Music
“From day one, music has been our focus.” George Kotow said. “Not strategies, not trends, but the conviction that everything we do must serve music and the artists. It is precisely this attitude that connects us to Andreas Schessl and MünchenMusik. Our shared passion for music is the foundation of our collaboration and our shared journey.”

In a decision sparked by a mutual vision to manage and promote classical music performers and events, both LIU Kotow and MünchenMusik have announced their joint agency LIU KOTOW Artists GmbH & Co. KG.
The decision was made upon the realization that both companies shared a mutual vision for the future of classical music projects and ventures.
Founded in 2009, LIU KOTOW has since advanced the careers of such artists as Hayato Sumino, who performed in the 18th International Chopin Competition; Anastasia Kobekina, who won 3rd Prize 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition; and Bomsori Kim, who to date, has won prizes in ten competitions such as the Tchaikovsky Competition, Sibelius Violin Competition, and Joachim Violin Competition.
LIU KOTOW continues to collaborate with artists, especially by connecting them with leading institutions and markets all across Europe, Asia, and North America. Focusing on sustainable career development, international positioning, and the exploration of new creative perspectives in the field of classical music, the company provides long-term support over artists’ careers.
With its founding in 1984, MünchenMusik has become one of Germany’s leading classical music promoters. On average, the company organizes around 600 concerts per season in German-speaking countries.
MünchenMusik has organized tours for such artists as opera singers Jonas Kaufmann–described as “the most important, versatile tenor of his generation” by the New York Times in 2014–and Jonathan Tetelman. The company has also organized events featuring world-renowned Ghibli composer Joe Hisaishi.
Additionally, MünchenMusik paves the way for innovative classical music experiences with events like “Bach in Space” and “Vivaldi Immersive.”
